Her practice spans all aspects of fertility law, including surrogacy, gamete donation, parentage establishment, and embryo disposition.

One of just 200 attorneys nationwide named a Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys, Alexis is widely respected for her work. She frequently lectures at law schools, speaks at conferences, and is featured in media as a fertility law authority. Her writing appears in top publications like Family Law Quarterly, New York Law Journal, and Fertility and Sterility.

A University of Michigan Law School alumna, Alexis was recently admitted to practice in Michigan to advise on the state’s first legal surrogacy arrangements. Personally experienced in building her family through surrogacy, she offers clients both legal guidance and emotional insight. In addition to fertility law, she maintains a strong matrimonial practice, providing unique counsel in complex family matters such as embryo disputes and parentage presumptions.
