With over 35 years of experience, she is recognized as a trusted leader in surrogacy and collaborative reproduction law, guiding Intended Parents and Surrogates through the legal complexities of family building.
Licensed in Ohio and Michigan, Ellen has dedicated her career to advancing the rights and protections of families formed through assisted reproduction. She has been an active member of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA) for over three decades, first attending its annual meeting in 1994, and is widely respected for her expertise and leadership in the field.
Beyond Fertility Law, Ellen played a historic role as co-counsel in the landmark U.S. Supreme Court marriage equality case, helping to shape the legal and cultural landscape of the nation.
