Attorney Kathleen DeLisle is a seasoned legal professional with over 30 years of experience in adoption law and more than 23 years in reproductive law. She represents intended parents, surrogates, and gamete donors, both domestically and internationally, and is highly experienced in establishing legal parentage through court petitions. A graduate of Boston College (1991) and New England Law Boston (1997), she previously served as Assistant Regional Counsel for the Massachusetts Department of Social Services, where she received a Performance Recognition Award for her service in adoption matters.
Attorney DeLisle is licensed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Adoption & Assisted Reproduction Attorneys and served on its Legislative and Continuing Legal Education Committees. A founding member of the Massachusetts Parentage Coalition, she played a key role in passing the groundbreaking Massachusetts Parentage Act. She frequently speaks on assisted reproductive technology law and contributed to the 2018 edition of Adoption and Reproductive Technology Law in Massachusetts. In 2021, she was honored as one of Massachusetts’ Top Women of the Law.
