Melissa is an experienced Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) attorney specializing in surrogacy law since graduating from Suffolk University Law School in 2015. She began her career as in-house counsel at Circle Surrogacy in Boston and later at ConceiveAbilities in Chicago before founding her solo practice in 2021. Licensed in Colorado and Massachusetts, with pending admissions in other states, Melissa has helped hundreds of intended parents by drafting and negotiating egg donor, embryo donation, and gestational carrier agreements. She also handles parentage establishment, insurance appeals, adoption petitions, and guides clients and agencies through the legal complexities of surrogacy.

Melissa actively contributes to the legal community, moderating American Bar Association panels and speaking at Suffolk University’s Biomedical Ethics Law symposium. She engages in outreach by visiting fertility clinics and attending family and surrogacy law conferences. Recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2022 and 2024 and named Top 10 under 40 by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys, Melissa combines her legal expertise with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Stonehill College.
