Roia Barrios is the founder and principal of Roia Barrios, P.A., a law firm that practices exclusively in  assisted reproductive technology (ART) law. Roia is one of only ten Florida attorneys recognized as a  Fellow by the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA). She primarily  represents intended parents and surrogates in negotiating and preparing gestational surrogacy  agreements. Roia also represents clients in same sex adoptions and sperm, egg, and embryo donations.  Roia regularly speaks on the topics of surrogacy, gamete donations, and reproductive rights.

Roia graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2006. When not working or  spending time with her family, Roia is an avid volunteer. She is one of the founders of The Jane Network,  an organization of attorneys advocating for reproductive justice. Roia is also incoming President of the  Gasparilla International Film Festival and a Sustainer in the Junior League of Tampa.
