Abigail L. Jaquette (“Abby”) was born and raised in Carson City, Nevada. She began her college education at Oregon State University, including a fully immersive study abroad program in Lyon, France, and later completed her studies at the University of Nevada, Reno. There, she earned a dual degree in International Business and French, with minors in Economics and Marketing. After four years in business management, Abby earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2010, inspired by her father’s dedication to both his clients and family.
Before joining Surratt Law Practice, Abby served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James E. Wilson, Jr., practiced family law, and spent five years as a Deputy District Attorney for Washoe County prosecuting cases in both juvenile dependency and criminal divisions.
Abby now focuses on assisted reproduction, adoption, and estate planning. Her practice includes surrogacy and donation agreements, parentage matters, adoptions of all types, and comprehensive estate planning services.
She is actively involved in the legal community and serves on the Family Law Executive Council of the State Bar. As a mother of two, Abby approaches every case with compassion, diligence, and a deep commitment to helping families build and protect their futures.
