Jennifer McGill

Jennifer McGill is a Partner at the Reproductive Law Center, a leading U.S. firm dedicated exclusively to Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) law. With more than 15 years of experience, she advises individuals and families on collaborative reproduction across multiple jurisdictions, handling both domestic and international matters.

Her practice includes drafting and negotiating surrogacy and donor agreements; establishing parentage; stepparent and second-parent adoptions; and legal assistance with name and gender marker changes. Having previously served as an egg donor and navigated personal losses in her own family-building journey, Jen brings a deeply empathetic and informed perspective to her work.

Jen is a Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA), an invitation-only distinction recognizing excellence in adoption and ART law. She is a member and former Co-Chair of the Standards Committee for the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS), a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and is active in the American Bar Association’s Family Law Committee on Assisted Reproductive Technologies.

She guest lectures at American University and contributes to industry and legal publications. Outside of practice, Jen enjoys life with her husband, three sons, a dachshund, and foster pups.
