Joni Franklin has owned her law firm since 2006, handling workers’ compensation, personal injury, and fertility law cases. She brings personal attention and care to every client, drawing on her own experience as a former injured worker to guide and advocate for her clients through complex processes.

Joni has represented union labor throughout her career, including private and public collective bargaining units such as the International Association of Firefighters Locals #135 and #179. She drafts and negotiates collective bargaining agreements and handles grievances from inception to arbitration, trial, and post-hearing appeals.

For over a decade, Joni has built a thriving fertility law practice, assisting intended parents, gestational carriers, and egg, sperm, and embryo donors. She provides full-service, highly personalized representation, drafting and negotiating surrogacy and donation agreements and guiding clients through the parentage establishment process. She serves clients across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

Joni has received numerous professional and community awards, including the Pro Bono Service Award for volunteer work protecting abuse survivors, as well as recognition from the Arthritis Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Her greatest accomplishment is her family: her husband, Aaron, and their two children, Gabe and Lulu, the latter adopted from Vietnam. Joni combines legal expertise with compassion to help clients protect their rights and grow their families.
