Meryl B. Rosenberg, Esq. is an attorney with over 30 years of experience helping intended parents build families through surrogacy, gamete donation, and second-parent or stepparent adoption. She is President and Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA) and has served in leadership roles on its ART committees. She is also past chair of the Legal Professional Group of ASRM, past co-chair of Path2Parenthood’s Legal Advisory Committee, and an active member of the ABA Family Law Section, Family Law Institute of the LGBTQ Bar, and RESOLVE.

Meryl has played a key role in shaping legislation and policy affecting families formed through assisted reproduction, including the 2016 DC surrogacy law, the ABA Model Act Governing Assisted Reproduction (2019), and the ABA Model Act Governing ART Agencies (2016). She frequently speaks nationally and internationally on ART and family-building law, and has lectured at the University of Maryland School of Law and American University Washington College of Law.

Meryl also writes extensively on surrogacy, egg donation, and third-party reproduction, and actively serves on boards for philanthropic and family-focused organizations.
