Nora Zuckerman founded Ross & Zuckerman, LLP in 2005, a law firm dedicated to building families through assisted reproductive technology law.  She represents intended parents, donors, and surrogates, offering legal guidance on reproductive agreements and estate planning. Nora is known for her compassionate, attentive approach and commitment to making complex legal processes more understandable.  Before launching her firm, Nora worked at Legal Aid Chicago, representing low-income clients in family and consumer law matters.

Nora is a Fellow and Board Trustee of the Academy of Adoption & Assisted Reproduction Attorneys where she has served in multiple leadership roles.  She is also affiliated with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the ABA’s Assisted Reproductive Technologies Section, and the Society for Ethics for Egg Donation and Surrogacy. In 2024, she received the Lemonade Award from the Collette Louise Tisdahl Foundation for her contributions to reproductive law.

Beyond her legal practice, Nora is a founding member of Luggage for Freedom, a project that supports domestic violence survivors, and was honored by the National Council of Jewish Women for her leadership and volunteerism. She also served on the board of the Deerfield Parent Network, including two years as Co-President.
