Rachel Loftspring is a Partner at The Family Law and Fertility Law Group, where she practices exclusively in Fertility Law. She is widely recognized for her thoughtful guidance on the complex legal issues surrounding surrogacy and third-party reproduction, and for her ability to explain those issues with clarity and compassion.
Rachel advises clients across the United States and internationally on family building through surrogacy, egg, sperm, and embryo donation, step-parent adoptions, and parentage actions. She represents intended parents, gestational carriers, donors, recipients, and adopting or consenting parents, and works with individuals and couples of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Known for her approachable demeanor and responsive style, Rachel is deeply committed to providing personalized, exceptional client service. She is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Illinois.
A sought-after speaker, Rachel regularly presents at national and regional conferences and participates in webinars, podcasts, and roundtables on fertility law. She earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif, and holds an undergraduate degree from Emory University.
Rachel is an ART Fellow of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys and serves as Chair of the Jewish Fertility Foundation Board. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband and two children.
